Candela,  I appreciate the fact that you have made a decent effort to keep an open mind. What we are saying is that all Muslims are not bokoharam.  There are bad muslims and there are bad Christians , there are bad Hindus and buddist. (They are over there in India molesting young girls and hanging them on trees)
The point is every religion has true believers and the lunatics. Boko are the lunatics of Islam.  And to answer your question, are we helpless?  The answer is yes!!!
Our government appear completely helpless.  It is not the job of true Muslims or true Christians to go and fight Boko. That is the job of the president. Regardless what his religion is. He is in control of the Nigerian Army. His job as the president is to protect The citizens of Nigeria from both external and internal enemies.  He has failed woefully. We are totally helpless because our leadership is totally worthless.
