One Saturday Aigbedion, a 27-year-old man was on Tuesday remanded in prison by an Oredo Magistrate Court in Benin City, for allegedly having sex with Chikere Okereke.

The accused, who is standing a one count charge of unnatural offences, pleaded not guilty.

Sylvester Omor, the police prosecutor told the court that Aigbedion committed the offence at Erie Street, Off Sakponba Road, Benin City, in December 2013.

Omor informed the court that the offence was contrary to section 214 (1) of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, if Aigbedion is found guilty of the crime, he risks 14 years imprisonment.
