From what I have seen, Mai Malfa is in Hausa version of dress, and in our way of dressing (especially the way he dressed) he must wear socks to make it complete. That is our own native dress in its best. May be the critics means Mai Malfa should not wear socks along with his usual cowboy hat, but if it is for that very dress, MAI MALFA DRESSED WELL.

You are worst wrong. Sock is to absolve the heat from the foot not for fashion purpose. The scottish wear sock with skirts, so what do u call that? go back to ur fashion site and check.
