:'(it is terrible with the payment we graduate are earning now adays.I KNOW some firms offerin grads a sum of seventeen thousand naira only per month. How do you want that to reach up to half million?so the situation now is becoming unbearable for grads and youths in the nation with this general rise in price of everything. :'(

Speaking on salary - Its just the way the economy is designed. The country is 'poor' so you would expect very poor payout to people doing the work.

While the leaders (Shout out to Mr. Ibori) are convicted in foreign land for laundering over £100M pounds!!!

Isnt it just a crazy country/world?

The country is not poor at all, here in france they got nothing, yet richer than nigeria 'cos of their management..., the fact is that our leaders' are ful of greediness, bribery n corruptions, sabotaging, embezzlement, bad management name it!, these are d things that's setting us behind, not that we are poor

all the top people in nigeria are just running away with nigeria money because of that our currency is very low compare to other countries, their currency is very good, they have good roads, standard electricity, water.they also care for their citizens but nigeria have no time for their people, they dont know if people are eating or not.some of our people who travels out of the country for them to get a job is very hard because of the hard way our governments are treating us.they will allow foreigners to seat in the position we are suppose have and when you get to their country they treat us bad by asking of work permit can you imagine that?

Thats still fair to some extent, since it is insufficient to trigger revolution.

the problem of naija is that of gross mismanagement and selfishness.u can imagine what these so called graduates went through in higher instituitions(ASUU,ASUUP,SANU,PENGASSEN,etc strikessssss) and even during NYSC(for those that did not influence it).post NYSC,no jobs!!!and even when u now get the job,u are under paid(in majority of cases).when do u want to break even?when?
in the past, the so called parents and grand parents could relax after u had graduated but the reverse is the case now(if not worse off).u still see parents supporting their children(even though he/she is working and probably has a family).
our leaders have a lot to do.the sad thing is that they go abroad and see the way things are done  or  the way things function-light,water,good roads, structures, etc.but instead of  emulating such, they would rather move money abroad, build mansions there and send their wards to school there.
no wonder the citizens are unpatriotic!u sit down and ask youself 'what has Nigeria done for u'?all u are, u needed to achieve on your own(OYO)!so when u are now made,u would not want to give back.to who?definately not to the country that was not there when u needed it most.
the reason why developed countries are where ther are today is because they have the interest of the nation at heart.NIGERIA DOES NOT!!!OUR LEADERS DO NOT!!!some days back,OBAMA was talking about debt relief for americans as regards cedit card.wetin concern OBASANJO OR NA YAR'ADUA?Huh?
