If what one of the news media in Nigeria is saying is true, then the new Emir of Kano is in big trouble because it is alleged that Sanusi Lamido is fighting depression that has left him with suicidal thoughts and mental problem.
According to top security sources, Sanusi started showing symptoms of severe clinical depression after crowned the Emir and the symptoms are growing worse.
The source said “He is suicidal. He is secretly being watched by his close aides”, said the source. But a close source to the family of Lamido said it is false.
In his words, “Very untrue. In fact I just came out from a meeting with him and he looks very stable with sound mind”.
Recently, Witches and Wizard Association of Nigeria says Sanusi has stepped on powerful toes and that he has so many enemies.
The warning message for the Emir from the witches reads:
“What we see before Sanusi is myriad of woes. His road will be rough. Turbulent days lie ahead of him, he should not rejoice yet. He will experience trouble within and outside the emirate.
“ His enemies are many, and to make matters worse for him, he had stepped on powerful toes. He needs all the prayers in this world to survive the turmoil looming before him.”
