Is it a good idea for a couple to tell each other how much money they make?

Without personalizing this issue which could detract from the topic, I would like to know if you think it is a good idea for a couple, who is in a relationship, but not living together, to tell each other how much money they make, and why you feel this way?

well is good so that ur spouse will cut her cloth according to her size while making demands  BUT if ur income is too much, i dint think it will be ideal to let ur wife know it!!!!! if she knows it, it will be an avenue for her to demand for heaven and earth
