JESUS WAS CALLED THE LAMB OF GOD BCOS OF THE SACRIFICE HE CAME TO DO.THE SPIRITUAL POWER OF LAMB IS [HUMILITY,SELFLESS AND OBEDIENT}THATS WHY HE WAS NOT CALLED THE GOAT OR THE CAW OR THE LION OF GOD,BUT THE LAMB THAT TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.ALL OTHER ANIMALS THAT I MENTIONEARE USED 4 SACRIFICE IN THE JEWISH RELIGION,BUT EACH IS USED ACCORDING TO THE SACIFICE BEING OFFERED...THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDEA IS THE NAME HE IS COMING BACK WITH,BCOS THE LION IS THE KING OF THE ANIMALS.SO HES NOT COMING BACK AGAIN AS A LAMB,BUT AS A LION,NOT 4 SACIFICE AGAIN BUT TO DEAL WITH THE ENEMIES.

The lamb and the lion seemingly two opposites but as each coin has a head and a tails, Lamb and Lion is  really two sides of the same coin (metaphorically speaking ). The Bible speaks of Jesus as the Lamb of God in reference to his being sacraficed as lambs were during the Jewish Passover. In the context of the Gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John there is also reference to him being called the king of the Jews. As Pontus Pilate asked " are you the King of the Jews ". Pilate knew from historical references that jesus was in the Davidac line to become king, hence the Lion symbolised the Jewish head of state. Remember palm sunday, this was the actual coronation of Jesus as king of the Jewish nation. This coranation was also an affront to the ruling elete of Israel of which Herod was placed by the Romans as King. Those in power knew that if Jesus was to take his rightful place as king ,their power would be in jepardy so they ploted with Herod and Pilate to have him crusified. The Sanhedrian fearing Roman retribution if they went along with this coranation also ploted among themselves to sacrifice Jesus the real King ,so that the nation of Israel would be spared destruction at the hands of the Roman Legions. Thus Jesus was sacrificed as a passover Lamb even though he was the true King or Lion of Judah. Thats why He is called the Lamb of God and the Lion of Judah.

his called the lion of triba of judea bcos he came out of judea,and the mean of judea is praise.why his called the lamb of god is that he put light in darkness.

Jesus is called lamb for a lot of things. Fisrt He is humble, meak, peaceful, merciful in spirit,tender-hearted and above all HE LOVES MANKIND that is why he shared HIS BLOOD for I and you on the cross of CALVARY. Now HE is a LION because HE is father to the fatherless and mother to the motherless, a sucure to the opressed, an avenger to the captives, a man of war( David & golliat),Daniel in the lions den, Shedrack, Meshack & Abednego in the burning furnance, and so many others. What a mighty man in battle-Joshua and city of Jerico and others.
Those who call this trash will soon be arrested by Holy Ghost
