The General Overseer of Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet T.B Joshua has said through the church spokesperson, Kirsten nematandani that, the church will be giving 50,000rand ($4500/N750, 000 in Nigerian currency) to South African victims who lost their lives during the September 12 guest house collapse in the church premises.

"The church has pleaded with the Nigerian government to expedite the repatriation process in order for families to bury the deceased with dignity and receive closure.

"We have done a full audit of each family's financial needs and assisted with various household expenses, as many of the deceased were breadwinners."

The SCOAN church is donating a sum of 50,000 rand to each victim’s family for various expenses, he said.

It will be recalled that majority of those that lost their lives in the incident were South Africans.

Why I do not agree with the hypothesis of porpoted "spiritual" attack, there is a possibility of controlled explosion, this is used to systematically demolish building in civilised clime. A critical look at the video will show my assumption. The other possible cause can be as a result of structural defects. What I dont understand is why all this trouble to TB, he is definitely not the contractor, granted, the building belong to his organisation but there is a difference between an individual therefore, in my view the organisation' s lawyer is the one to attend the enquiry. If TB decides to attend then that will be out of his personal generosity towards the Nigerian establishment.
Again the contractor is the one who have to answer for these because if he/was given a job to do, that job includes proper survey and advice on the feasibility of such job. For example, I live in Britain, if I take my car to a garage for my tyre to be repaired and they observed that the repair will not hold instead lead to accident, they will legally refuse to go ahead with it.

The problem with Africans especially Nigerians is, the can read and write but lack the ability to think critically. It runs even through our legal system.

was the building insured? if so, the insurance company should pay for the damages .
if not insured, the court should decide how much benefit the families should get.

That is almost 4.5 million dollars  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked That money would have been enough to bring down the building and rebuild from scratch instead of trying to cut corners by adding more stories on a weak foundation... penny wise pound foolish

can the ministry of aviation help in this matter?. I think any plane that enters or leave your. air space is always picked by the radar. what I mean in essence is, was that plane really a strange one?
