Was the Lord adding to the Law when he defined the law in provisional terms? No! The Lord was saying, there was a pre-Law period, when things were different between the male and the female. The change in Adam caused by sin was a change of kind. The pre-Fall Adam is different from the fallen Adam.

The fallen Adam is a creature dead in trespasses and sin. Sin was evident in the hardness of heart of the sinner and the Law of Marriage given for mankind in bondage to sin was quite different from the marriage instituted by God in the creation of the Woman out of the Male. The Lord Jesus went back to the creation to put in perspective the change in the nature and character of the fallen Male created in God’s image and after His likeness.

“The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul…And the LORD God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him…And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead of: And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said; This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.” (Genesis 2:7,18-24).

The creation of the woman out of man was not the Edenic Marriage; nor was the creation of the woman the same as the creation of the female. When the Lord referred to the beginning of creation, the Lord Jesus had in mind the creation of Man itself; he had in mind Genesis 1:26-27. This was the beginning of creation referred to by the Lord. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them.” The woman is different from the female. The former was created as a complement of “the man, Adam”, she was God’s gift to Adam of a “help meet”; the latter was created as “Man made in God’s image, after God’s likeness” and created to have dominion over living creatures, to replenish the earth, and to subdue it.” (Gen 1:26-28).

The Lord’s marriage was the marriage of the Male and the Female created in God’s image for God’s creation purpose. The Woman created out of Adam was named by Adam: but marriage was the confession of kinship declared by Adam out of whom the Woman was made. “And Adam said” of the Woman brought to him by God; ‘This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” (Genesis 2:23-24).

The Lord Jesus made plain the process by which God produced the Female created as Man by the spoken Word (Genesis 1:26-27). Adam recognized the Woman both as “kindred person” and as “help meet”, taken out of Man. As a kindred person, the Woman was bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She was made from Adam and so she was not only of Adam but more importantly she was also of Adam’s being, a bone of “my bones” and “flesh of my flesh’’.

She was constituted of Adam out of the bones and flesh of Adam. Although a distinct entity, the Woman was not a different person, she was a member of Adam in fact, just as the arm is “bone of the bones of a body and flesh of the flesh” of the body. For this cause says the Lord Jesus, every man must leave his father, and his mother and be realized as Man, created Male and Female, by cleaving unto his wife. It is in this cleaving unto his wife, that a man is realized in his wife and the woman in her husband as one flesh, thus reproducing Man created Male and Female. Marriage is this cleaving that produces out of two entities the Adam and the Eve, the Man created Male and Female. The Man is the Marriage, that is the one resulting from the cleaving of the man unto his wife. And God had and therefore did purpose that the Male and the Female which he created as Man should through the process by which He fashioned the woman out of Adam be reconstituted as Man.

My observations:

Your last sentence falls short of a conclusion in keeping with ur topic.  I can infer that the one you have quoted is trying to prove a case against divorce.  Never write in such a way that ur conclusions are inferred by ur readers;state ur conclusions simply and clearly so that ur readers are clear about what u mean.

Why should there be a divorce in the first place? i do not support that, whoever that is into it should ask God for forgiveness, becasue no matter how the situation it, no matter how the problem is between 2 people, they should take it to God, he is the only solution to it, he will direct their part and give them ways to tolerate each other, than divorce, the bible speak against it. the bible say how many times shall ur brother offend u and u forgive, 70x7 so u can see that it has not even reached to that level, u can still find it in your heart to forgive one another.  We should learn how to Love one another

“The Lord has made us attractive one to another for
a great purpose. But this very attraction becomes as
a powder keg unless it is kept under control. . . . It is for this
reason that the Church counsels against early dating”
(President Gordon B. Hinckley).
In cultures where dating or courtship is acceptable,
dating can help you develop lasting friendships and
eventually find an eternal companion. Date only those
who have high standards and in whose company you
can maintain your standards. A young man and a young
woman on a date are responsible to help each other
maintain their standards and to protect each other’s
honor and virtue. You must honor the sanctity of the
priesthood and of womanhood.
Do not date until you are at least 16 years old. Dating
before then can lead to immorality, limit the number of
other young people you meet, and deprive you of experiences
that will help you choose an eternal partner.
Not all teenagers need to date or even want to.
Many young people do not date during their teen years
because they are not yet interested, do not have opportunities,
or simply want to delay forming serious relationships.
However, good friendships can and should be
developed at every age.

I didn't read that article; too long  Grin. But I'm still throwing in my view. I think divorce depends on a lot of things. It should be the last resort, like after you've tried to make it work and there still aren't any changes, then you should look into it. I don't think anyone should stay in an unhappy, abusive or whatever-the-problem-is marriage. Of course, it has to be a big problem. And all the people saying it's wrong to divorce, would you want to stay in an unhappy or abusive relationship? There're many reasons why people divorce: abuse (and this can go both ways -women also abuse, and it's isn't just physical, there's also emotional abuse...like name-calling, controlling or being too authoritative, etc), constant cheating, falling out of love (yea, it happens), financial reasons, or even marrying for the wrong reasons in the first place and finding out this isn't the person you're meant to be with. It all depends on the situation, especially if you've kids and your hubby or wife's abusive...you've to put them first and decide whether you want tor raise them in that kind of environment. And with abuse, it's not always easy to leave, especially if it's one of those extreme cases where the man throws threats...I think that's one of the reasons most women stay in those relationships (besides the fact that they think he'll change somehow, someday) because they're afraid for their lives and the lives of their family, while staying itself poses another danger. So it depends on the situation. You have to do what's right for you and if it's the last resort and the only solution, then do what you gotta do. If it's something that can be worked out, then of course try your best to do that and make it work. But if all else fails, then make the right decision for yourself.

Mt 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. JESUS SAID THIS.
