Second US Death Over Ebola Fatality as Doctor Martin Salia Dies Today

 Marking the second Ebola death in the United States, Dr. Martin Salia died at around 5 a.m. ET Monday, according to Nebraska Medicine spokesman Taylor Wilson.

A legal permanent resident of the U.S., Salia was working in West Africa when he contracted the virus.
Salia arrived Saturday at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. The hospital tweeted Monday that he was "extremely critical" when his treatment began and "unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we weren't able to save him."
Salia was suffering from advanced symptoms of Ebola, including kidney and respiratory failure, health officials said.

Just finished watching the BBC Panaroma programme on Ebola and it bought tears to my tears.Men, women, young and old suffering and dying. The makeshift hospitals that bring shame to the continent.  The ill looking forlorn  - the healthy looking lost. What went wrong with Africa. Always living on charity. We have nothing - not even a decent life.

Band Aid have released the same song they released 30 years ago - for the SAME continent - AFRICA! The song will raise MILLIONS in pounds. It raised millions  for ETHIOPIA 30 years ago - has their been any improvement in the life of ordinary Ethiopians? It doesnt look like that! They are still dying and trekking across the Sahara to escape to Europe. Now its the turn of Ebola nstions.

Will Liberia suddenly decide to build hospitals. They have been independdnt since 1874! Why shld they suddenly build hospitals. More money wasted on saving people whose collective leaders do not care one bit for their citizens. All the money will end up in the hands of "leaders!"

Shame on Africa - the cradle of civilisation!
