President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has announced with deep sorrow, the passing away of his beloved junior sister, Mrs. Nancy Jonathan-Olei. Mrs. Jonathan-Olei passed away earlier today at a hospital in Yenagoa after a brief illness. She was 52 years old. Burial arrangements will be announced later by the family.

Actually, his brother Mr. Meni Jonathan, died on November 2012 at the State House Clinic, Abuja.. He was battling his ailment for months and was receiving medical attention in his home state of Bayelsa for several months before he was flown to the State House Clinic Abuja the day prior to his death.
