Nigerian Musician Arraigned for Stealing Guitar

A 36-year-old musician, Chenchroh Igbodo, was on Friday arraigned in Lagos for allegedly stealing a bass guitar worth N25, 000.Igbodo was arraigned on a one-count charge before magistrate Dan Oni.

The prosecutor, Corporal Oladejo Balogun, told the court that the accused, on February 2, broke into the office of another musician, Godfather Iyobo, at 16/18 Egbe road, Isolo area of Lagos and stole the item.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail by the magistrate in the sum of N20,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case to Nov. 25.
