Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on Monday attacked the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, otherwise called Winners Chapel, Dr. David Oyedepo, over a comment attributed to the cleric on Sunday that the gates of hell would be opened for those who failed to support the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Obasanjo in his twitter.com/segunObasanjo account on Monday said that no pastor could tell Nigerians who to vote for.
He tweeted: “We all want #CHANGE. Vote based on what you know not on religious or tribal sentiments! No one has the key to hell! Don’t be threatened!”
The former President added: “Has Bishop Oyedepo spoken out to condemn the legalised looting of billions of dollars taking place under the watch of President Jonathan?
“Did Bishop Oyedepo condemn the failure of the President to rescue the Chibok girls 9 months after they were kidnapped by the insurgents?
“Did Bishop Oyedepo speak out to condemn the manner in which the almost 300 Chibok girls were kidnapped? “Did Oyedepo speak out when ASUU & ASUP were on strike twice in 4 years thereby leading to the loss of almost 2 years in the academic calendar?”
Obasanjo was not done. He tweeted: “How many of the Pastors that are telling you to vote for GEJ have children who are unemployed graduates sitting at home?
“A man of God that does not have the key to free our beloved Chibok girls from captivity has the key to hell… GOD HELP US! President Jonathan had on Sunday visited Winners Chapel Church where the cleric praised him.

at least obj paid off our debt, we bought fuel 65per lit,we could travel to the north eastern part of d nation without needing special visa, we had subsidy, we could account for 20 billon dollars, 31 govenors were on efcc list but now ntin, a dollar was 125 not 210 as at today we can go on on

The Only man of God that I fear most is the Almighty Jesus I believe olusegun obasanjo have said it all it high time for a change Nigerians when are we going to ever wake up from our slumber and face reality of life. Jonathan and PDP has fail Nigerians why not step Down and hand it over to someone capable to deliver us all from our present predicament
