Majority of Nigeria Muslim will not support this move. Iran is predominantly Shia or Shiite Muslim while Nigeria is predominantly Sunni Muslim. While these two sects will unite when they face a common enemies being Jews and Christians, they hardly tolerate each other. The Sunni consider the Shiite to be extremists and "Holier than thou" and the Shiite consider the Sunni not holy as they are, they believe that the Sunni are not  deeply following the  teaching of the Holy prophets and theologically heretic. Common suspicion among the Sunni is that Iran and their Ayatollah are trying to propagate their theological belief to ensure that Shia spread across the world. This is a move that majority of Islamic world will not tolerate including Saudi Arabia. The shiites are majorly found in Iran, Syria, some part of Turkey and Iraq. The sunning Muslim  will rather prefer that the Americans and EU step in instead of Iran

Iran just want to gain cheap publicity, they have nothing good to offer NIGERIA.
We need help from the AU and the UN and not from individual Countries.
