How comes this 11 year old was away from her mother at a nite vigil. Shouldn't she be with her. This mother was irresponsible. As for this rapist why was he given bail? Who are protecting our children when the adults who are suppose to do this job is savaging them. Killings of children in Jamaica and molesting of them in Nigeria. These two countries have churches in every square miles. So is it God they are worshipping or the devil?

Ana Almeida, 31, of Milford, was a pastor at Plenitude of God church on Main Street.

She is charged with statutory rape and four counts of indecent assault and battery on a 14-year-old child.

Police say the victim told them the abuse occurred over a period of two years at Almeida's home.

Almeida is now under house arrest.

PORT ORCHARD -- Church leaders in South Kitsap County are a genial group. Despite theological differences, they meet monthly for lunch, hobnobbing about charity events or ways to improve their ministry. Over the years, they occasionally extended invitations to Pastor Robbin Leeroy Harper, asking him to join their circle. But the mild-looking church leader rebuffed every overture.

Pastor Robb, as he is known to adherents, led a congregation of 60, who met several times a week on the quiet, rural road where Harper had founded The Church. There, in a gated compound, he preached a non-denominational -- though strict -- interpretation of the Bible and kept largely to himself.

Many in South Kitsap believe they now know why.

Eight days ago, Harper was charged with multiple counts of child rape stretching back at least to 1994, after five young women -- all of them one-time members of the congregation -- accused the married father of four of years of segxwal abuse within the church compound.

Lawsuit filed against muncie pastor for molestation rape and segxwal abuse of 5 children from one Delaware family.

 

The lawsuit filed by a couple and their 5 children against Pastor Matthew Kidd, Freedom Point Apostolic Church, the national and state organizations of the United Pentecostal Church. and Ontario Systems, where the preacher works.

The lawsuit alleges that the muncie clergyman molested segxwally abused or raped all five of the couples children at various times and locations up until december of 2006, when the family broke the cycle of abuse by leaving the church.

This attracted the attention of a neighbour who went to the apartment to know what was happening.  The neighbour discovered that the victim had been raped and reported the incident to her mother when she returned from the church.  The mother reported the matter at the police station and the accused was arrested. He reportedly confessed molesting the girl  four times.

He was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court for rape, an offence punishable under Section 218 of the Criminal Code, Cap.17, Vol. 2, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N100,000 and two responsible sureties.

The magistrate, Mrs. Maimunat Folami ordered that one of the sureties must be a blood brother and must show evidence of means of livelihood, including payment of tax.

The matter has been adjourned till 14 December, 2009 for definite trial while the defendant was ordered to be remanded in prison custody because he could not meet the bail conditions.
