The National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a 64 year old mother of seven at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos for ingesting 80 wraps of substances that tested positive to cocaine. Six other suspects that ingested illicit drugs including a 55 year old mother of four are also been held by the NDLEA over importation and exportation of illicit drugs.
Two of the suspects were arrested on their way from Brazil while five were intercepted during the screening of passengers. Commenting on the arrests, the NDLEA Assistant Commander, Operations and Intelligence at the airport, Mr. Adeofe Olufemi Adeyemi, who is the acting commander gave the names of the suspects as Afolayan Elizabeth Adeniyo, 64, Omolara Owolabi Agbeke, 55, Aganama Elechukwu, 34, Udide Afam Okwudili, 37, Chukwukelu Ebuka Peter, 32, Nwachukwu Aloysius Nnamdi, 39 and Okwara Festus, 31.He said the United States donated screening machines to the airport and that the machines had made it easier to detect drugs notwithstanding where they were hidden.

I put the blame on our wicked, greedy government,if not poverty and hunger what will make a woman of that age to risk her life.Until the government take full responsibility of what ever happend to the citizen of Nigeria,such things will continue to happend.After all this is not the first time trafickers were arrested at the airport,instead they are increasing day by day.My brother and sisters all we need is God intervention in that country.We are better than many western countries just leaders are our problem.
