Stupid.
The fault is with the tanker driver that could not stop before hitting the vehicle. A vehicle in front of you, a commuter bus at that can stop at any moment. Its the duty of  whoever that follows behind to keep a respectable safety  distance and speed.
The police in other hand are supposed to place road signs, 150meters before any check point so as to let drivers slow down.
But what happened to road signs and speed limits in Nigerian roads?

My people, I leave every day praying that God should provide us a good leader.. that will be the only call to end of this missmanagement that promt hunger to this barbarics called police, that leaves where they are called and jump into where they are not invited, thereby causing myriad havocs to the poor masses they left with no job managing their lives and family...Now tell me, who will take care of their offsprings after this ruthless police men has sent them to their early grave??

This is another call to us for a better tomorrow. My condolence to these innocent people and their families who have to pay this sacrifice. This is a reminder to all of us whether Hausa, Igbo ,Yoruba or other ethnic group. We should wake from slumber, be responsible for our future and that of our children and grandchildren by fighting corruption and bad conditions in our country.

These passengers could have been you or me, your son or daughter, your father or mother as far as we live here in Nigeria. On Obama’s visit to Ghana he said "Africans your future is in your hands". We are the sixth oil richest country in the world but our roads aren’t even kept properly and traffic signs are lacking on them.

The second factor is that anybody can buy a drivers licence as far as you have the money, so we have  drivers who don't have any experience and go about endangering the safety of other road users.
