According to a report by ThisDay, the presidency is currently building a helipad in Daura, the hometown of President Buhari in Katsina state. According to sources who spoke to ThisDay, the Helipad is being constructed to help ease the president's travels to his hometown. For now, whenever he travels to Katsina state using the presidential jet, he has to travel by road to his hometown after landing at Katsina Airport but with the helipad, he will be landing right in his hometown. Nigerians have taken to twitter to react to the report.

Is this news? What is wrong in building the Helipad for him in Daura? Do you want him to stay on the road to his village for 2 hours? Obasanjo and Jonathan had as well.

And so wot Huh??

What is wrong with that ..

This is a " clueful"   decision which is highly efficient, especially as it significantly to reduce the cost of governance .....building an helipad will allow the president to fly directly to Daura from the villa will be a cheaper option ........

God bless you my President .....
God bless Nigeria ....

Anybody who is expecting change in Nigeria from this govt should go back to bed. All politicians na the same, in fact APC govt may prove to be worst than PDP the way things are going.

Thank you brother....the oga at the top should try to use the road sometimes so that he will know the condition of our roads,he should also try to off the generator in Aso Rock sometimes and use NEPA so that he will know the condition of our electricity.
