So, you want to be the next music star, the next Davido, Wizkid or Tiwa Savage, then you are at the right place, please read on. You don't really need to participate in any project fame or Nigerian Idol, that's an absolute waste of your precious time. You can make your song right now, yes! from the comfort of your bedroom.

To be the next music obsession, you don't need to have any musical talent, you don't even need a good voice, that should even be the least of your worries. As long as you are convinced that you are the next big thing in the industry you are ready to go. Without wasting much of your time, lets get down to the business of making your award winning single.

Firstly, Choose a name for your Song. Yeah, you don't need to rack your brain with what the song should be about, just pick any name, it doesn't really have to be related to what you are singing about but here is an industry secret, if you want your song to be a hit, pick a name that doesn't make any sense, one with no meaning at all. Here are some suggestions; "Gbese baby", "Kpom kpom", "Assakwana" or you may still go for the English titles like "Whine O baby", "Come and take my money", just any random name and you are on your first step to stardom.

Secondly, Enter a studio. Shh! Don't panic, you really don't have to write down your lyrics, neither do you have to hire a song writer. Once you are ready, start by shouting the name of the producer, then mention your name, to make this part more authentic, remember to say "it's your boy again", followed with your name. Even if it's your first song, just say it!. Don't start singing yet, leave like 30secs, once 30 secs has elapsed say something like "elelelele", "yaggaa!", just anything any exclamation to show that you mean business.

Come up with a chorus, you may just keep repeating the title of your song, or you may choose to repeat the name of your song in English followed by its translation in your local dialet. Just anything but make sure that it contains repeated words or sentence.

Once you are done with the chorus, this is your main song, start uttering incoherent words, you may choose to talk about how that girl jilted you and is now begging to come back because you have money, although you don't have enough money for the studio session, mention how you are now driving big cars and how God has blessed you with several houses, or scream that a certain girl is very beautiful, and how you love her. Don't forget to mention "baby" up to hundred times else you ain't ready yet.

Sing your chorus again.

This should be you verse two, start another round of incoherence ranging from how you are now flying to Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, New york, Malaysia from Lagos and how the girls won't let you be to how you are now rocking Versace, Louis Vuitton and other designer brands. Once again, don't forget to mention "baby" asking her to whine for you.

Continue your Chorus, Repeat it like five times or more, after the last time, now mention the names of all your guys and hail them, ending it with the your name and that of your producer.
Once you are done, get a VERY good producer to make the beatings for your song and remind him to auto-tune your voice. Then release it for Nigerians. See you at the Grammys!.
