Breaking! Ms. Donu Kogbara, Vanguard Columnist Has Been Kidnapped

Popular Vanguard columnist and broadcaster, Ms. Donu Kogbara has been kidnapped.  Donu was kidnapped yesterday morning in front of her house in Port Harcourt. According to reports the armed men who kidnapped her wore Police uniforms and drove in a Honda CRV mid-sized utility vehicle. They accosted her in front of her house and whisked her away.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ahmad Muhammad, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), has confirmed the incident and said investigations were underway to ensure her safe rescue. He however expressed concern that the hoodlums wore police uniforms in their operation.
Donu’s mother was said to be inside the house when the abduction took place outside. We pray for God’s protection over her. Meanwhile the State Governor, Wike Nyesom has also condemned the abduction.
