Over 300 men competed in the 2015 World Beard and Moustache Championships, hosted in Leogang, Austria, on Oct. 3. These are photos and  portraits of the hirsute contestants, their facial hair shaped and coiffed into everything from Salvador Dalí’s famous pencil-stache, to something not unlike a pair of water buffalo horns.Participants competed in three main categories: mustache, “chin and stubble beard,” and full beard.
