To the best of my knowledge about Nigeria, there is no clean politician.

I don't know wit still av pple like u in this country who can reason beyond sentiment. dis is a country  were the citizen are eager to see govt fail. All dey can c is bad govt full of bad pple wit bad reputation. Dey r very  blind to c any tin positive. May God us.  Wen d head is rotten d whole body is rotten.  I don't trust rotimi amechi but I trust is boss PMB. If GEJ had cautioned Alison,  Stella, sister ngozi and odas  he wouldn't fell d way he did.
Contrary to the first post, in a sane country a Senate committee does not have the constitutional power to probe a matter already in court. A minister has no immunity so the case continues in court even after his confirmation as a minister. What happens after he's found guilty of corruption as a minister and the action of the president afterwards, determines how we rate the presidential anti- corruption campaign. You don't punish a person based on allegation, no matter how grave.
I'm not holding brief for Amaechi or any other nominee for that matter.
When you begin to drop prospective appointees based on corruption allegations then who would remain. I might as well petition against my enemies and get them dropped.
