Poster, thank u so much. Please could u also teach pals "the use of tenses and plural formation of verbs in conjunction with nouns and pronouns". Recently, the Nollywood editors editors are the highest mutilators of English language by way of "Captioning and Interpreting vernacular movies". Yes English language is our second language but we have options to speak the gibberish or speak proper. But after 50 yrs of learning and speaking this second language, we should speak and write at an acceptable rage of 90 - 95 percent accuracy. And the govt. with so many editors should be at 100%.

Borrowed language it is, but we have borrowed it to stay, and over 50 yrs with English professors and lecturers, scollars etc. It is our language now, we earned it and it has taken us all over the world; so, it our language forever and ever. No more excuses for poor presentations and publications in English. Speak gibberish all the way so we know u don't have it yet. Bad English like: Didn't I told u that eat the food yesterday, is no excuse for second language.
