Innocent Graduate Cries Out - Police Made Me Write Statement At Gunpoint

A 30-year-old graduate, Daniel Yosua, who was paraded by the Lagos State Police Command, along with some hoodlums said he was made to give his statement at gunpoint at a police station when he went to report a street fight. Yosua, a native of Okpara, Delta State, stated that he was arrested and detained at the Mile 12 Police station after he had gone to report the fight on Sadiku Street in the Mile 12 area where he resides.

It was learnt that Yosua and two others were arrested by the police on Friday before they were moved to the Ketu division for onward transfer to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba, for further investigation. Yosua who spoke with newsmen while been paraded for robbery, said police officers held gun to his head while forcing him to write the statement at the station, shortly after he went to report a fight.

They should investigate where the robbery took place, what they recovered from them and where they were arrested

This very bad. So this means that majority of those armed robbery suspects they always parade are even innocent. Nigeria police will never cease to amaze me

criminals will always like to play smart on police. I believe police have a geniu reason to suspect you.

Na wa o. Na which kain police we get for dis country for goodness sake?? So person no fit report anythg make dem no arrest am. Dis guy case is one out of many. If u go to prison to visit some of dis inmates, u will wonder wat a good looking and fluent english speaking guys are doing here. And wen they start explaining, seriously u will cry for them. Some are so innocent but does not kn why they are still been held in prison. Pls help shld cum to dis guy b4 he rot in prison while d real criminals and d police criminals are walking free.
