South Africa’s Supreme court of appeal has found Oscar Pistorius guilty of murder in the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. The presiding judge, Justice Eric Leach, in his ruling this morning, ordered the original trial judge to impose a harsher sentence. The minimum sentence for murder is 15 years in prison. Pistorius is currently living under house arrest at his uncle’s home in Pretoria, having been freed from prison after serving less than a year behind bars. It is not yet clear whether he will return to prison immediately, or if he will be allowed to remain in correctional supervision until a new sentence is handed down.
Pistorius shot and killed Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day in 2013, saying that he thought she was an intruder. “The accused ought to have been found guilty of murder,” said Justice Eric Leach. He described Steenkamp’s death as “a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions”.

Good, just cos ur a white man living in a black country doesn't give u d rite to take someone's life... Can u imagine if dis guy was a black guy he would have been executed no lie... We black people should start shaking off d complex we have about white ppl and treat each other as equals... Imagine if his g/f was black do u think it will even go to court..?

Some people just they under this earth to do evil and terrible things. they are just living evil life to affect people. imagine you look human being like in the eyes and shot him without no fear. God have mercy, i knw you are going to die in jail.

Even if it was an intruder, u wouldn't have just shot the person point blank, except you confirm 100% that the person is a threat to ur life. Your excuse for shooting her doesn't count at all
