Pictured here are a group of Biafran "soldiers" undergoing routine military drills at a training camp near Owerri in August 1968 during the Civil War. It should be recalled that Biafran soldiers were allegedly defeated in the civil war,Biafra having earlier declared its independence from Nigeria.
