Nigeria is a funny country. So learning French is our way to greatness? The Francophone countries surrounding us are so "great" because they speak French we want to do same. I think learning to speak ANOTHER AFRICAN language - another mother tongue- would be more appealing.

Anyway the WHOLE world knows Nigeria. We say we will do one thing and then find 1000 ways why we won't. The next visit from a French ambassador in 10 years time will find we have not even started learning the colonial language -French.

Only God knows what has been promised by France to Nigeria for our government to agree to learn another slave language.

Anyway I am sure D Gaver, the French ambassador knows his "slaves" well. We say one
When you talk of francophone countries, precise that Caeroon is a bilingual country and not just a french speaking country.Thank you
