A wicked husband in Kenya is in trouble for setting his wife ablaze after vowing to kill her. But for divine intervention, a pregnant woman, Njoki Ndung'u would be a dead woman today after her heartless husband set her on fire and left her to die after a domestic disagreement, NTV News reports. It was gathered that the husband who is from the Kikopey in Nakuru region of the East African country, set the 22-year-old woman ablaze in their living room and was only rescued by neighbours who rushed her to a hospital while the wicked husband was arrested by policemen from the Gilgil police station. While narrating her ordeal on her hospital bed at the St Mary’s Mission Hospital where she is nursing burn wounds, Ndung'u said some auctioneers who had come to their home over a debt the man owed and to avoid his property being auctioned, he set the home on fire, knowing that the wife was inside. “He had lit a fire in the living room but when I tried to get out, I caught fire. The door locked itself and fell down," she narrated. A neighbour who spoke to the television crew, said that the man and his wife were constantly fighting and he had vowed to kill her on day. "He started by burning mattresses and when neighbours asked, he said he was burning bedbugs, but he had locked the wife inside the house.
