I can't believe that am in a country that produced Governor Ayodele Fayoshe of Ekiti State. A lot has been said about the amendment of the constitution which personally didn't go down well with me.
Now I have seen the reason and the need why learned political icons are justling for constitutional amendment especially the sections and subsections that explain in details the requirements for a public office holders. The mental health status of any public office aspirants should be looked into because lunatics and schizophrenic patients can't continue to hold positions meant to be be pioneered by learned and well-meaning Nigerians.
I read with keen interest the suppose letter written by Governor Ayodele Fayoshe of Ekiti State to the Chinese government through her embassy somethings that made me to ask questions about the mental status of this controversial Governor.
At first, I likened his letter to political antagonism on the administration of Buhari but later come to a conclusion that there is high level of insanity from what he said on the letter.
On this note, am calling on the legislators to as a matter of urgency include certificate of mental fitness as part of the requirements to contest a political position because if we continue to produce Governors like Ayodele Fayoshe of Ekiti State, then, the solutions to the problems of Nigeria will forever be a mirage!
