Why parents dictate whom to marry for their son or daughter and what is the implications?

yea vixen is right.. i cant figure out y doin tat.... well i was thinkin maybe their own parents did tat to dem and they saw tat it was successful ..so they are tryin it wit their childish .. on and on.. witout thinkin their feelins..i just thank GOD tat mine is not tat way if not i will also run... se na who die make i go marry xson i no like...

when my son comes of age he's free to marry whomever he chose.
