@cadanre: u sound like a child asked to take a bath and he/she starts and concentrates only on the stomach. If u must know, Ojukwu lost the war because the International Community did not at the time, know the real Nigeria amalgamated by the British Colony. The difference is, today, the World and all the world powers know Nigeria like A B C D, and they are not enthused by the demagoguery and rabble-rousing leadership in the country. The super powers are not happy with Nigeria especially the BH issues and the likes. The international community and supper powers hate our infringement of democracy and human rights. So the favor that emboldened Nigeria during that war has been estranged and eroded by the melancholy and cacophony of the country's misconduct in the arena of world peace. We should rather pray for a more unified Nigeria, where all citizens are treated equally regardless of religion or ethnic background. A Nigeria in which the govt. distributes resources evenly for the betterment of the people. Fair treatment by police and military, and equal justice by the judiciary. @angesco: the winners are the politifians and the losers are the people who elected them to the nonchalant positions they have for draining our resources.
