A female teenage gangster has been arrested by the police in Lagos state. The 15-year-old girl identified as David Gift, was part of suspected kid robbers arrested by officials of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, at Abattoir area of Agege.
They were recently arrested for robbery, cultism and rape and paraded before newsmen on Thursday. Gift, a robber, said she was a lover of Indian hemp. She said,

“I smoke between five and six wraps of Indian hemp daily. I don’t take cocaine, but I take Chinese cigarette, if I cannot get Indian hemp. “I am not a thief, I don’t rob. It was one of the boys that we sleep together, who stole a phone at Computer Village,”
the Cross Rivers State indigene added, stating that she came with a relative to Lagos about six years ago, but was later abandoned.
Also, she denied engaging in prostitution as alleged. Some of the ‘kid robbers,’ who were all products of broken homes, said they were initiated into smoking Indian hemp as early as 11 years old when circumstances made them to become vagabonds.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the arrest to newsmen saying efforts were ongoing to apprehend the fleeing members.

She smoke India hemp yes but she is not a robber na Mr poster. Anyway d write has said it already they are abandon children. Some broken home. I pray They rehabilitate them than to send them to prison to become harden criminal.

I can see she is the only female in this line up. Who is their leader? Why backing the camera? They should allow them to face the camera so that, next time, people can recognize them and take precausion. Pls. Treat them well
