Just moments after Koffi Olomide touched down on Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the Congolese singer was captured on camera attacking a female dance. According to Tuko Kenya, the attack allegedly started after a huge disagreement between the dancer and Olomide’s second wife, Cuindy Le Couer.
Cindy, as the head dancer, selected those that accompanied the 60-year-old singer to Kenya for the concert slated for July 23. Upset that her friends were left out for not being loyal to Cindy, the said dancer berated Cindy during their flight. However, things got tense when they landed in Kenya and Olomide, who was responding to the press, was captured hurrying over to where the dancer stood to kick her.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, Kenyans are calling for Olomide’s deportation over the attack. “So Kofi Olomide hits a woman in public & life goes on as though the desensitization from misogyny in music lyrics isn’t enough,” one Twitter user said, and another added, “A society that tolerates violence against women is a toxic one.#DeportKoffiOlomide.”
The singer is yet to react to the video.
