Two aides of President Muhammmadu Buhari on Saturday attended the burial ceremony of Eunice Elisha, the female preacher who was murdered in Abuja on July 9 while evangelising around Gbazango-West area of Kubwa, Abuja.
The aides are Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal and Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
The assailants of the 42-year-old mother of seven, who was a deaconess at the Divine Touch Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Kubwa, stabbed her in the stomach and also slit her neck.
They left her in a pool of blood, with her bible, megaphone and cellphone, until her corpse was spotted by residents of the neighbourhood, who alerted the police.
Olawale Elisha, her husband, also a pastor at RCCG, said his wife left the house at about 5am to preach in the neighbourhood.
He also said he had forgiven his wife’s killers. The Police in Abuja said they have arrested the killers.

No female RIGHT group protested on her behalf just because she chose the way of Christ. They rather choose to protest for an APC senator who's life style does not glorify CHRIST. The struggle continues. We where never promised safety for preaching the good news. You have done your part successfully is left for us to do ours. RIP.
