The exchange was confirmed to be between Willie Obiano’s wife and a member of the forum after an administrator for the forum confirmed it. Also, the member of the forum who was also the critic in question had searched for Mrs Obiano’s number on TrueCaller app which revealed her name as “Osodieme Osodieme.”
Osodieme is known to be Mrs Obiano’s nickname. Last week, Reporters revealed that while campaigning to promote agriculture in his state, Willie Obiano falsely claimed Anambra State earned $5 million in vegetable exports. Mr. Obiano also used images of vegetables he asserted had been grown in Anambra state.
A reverse image search of the photos revealed that they had in actuality been pulled from other websites. Obiano has faced harsh criticism from his State following the revelation of his false claims. Mrs Obiano denied making threats to anyone when she was contacted by SaharaReporters for comments.
