I am not sure why you did not help him when you claimed that you were both in love.  Did you have your papers or not?

You have done two things that makes it impossible for him to come back to you. 

1.  You did not help him when he needed you.
2.  You slept with another man after you agreed to wait for him to get his papers.

Trust me he is not looking at you as marriage material any longer.  The contract marriage has now become more decent than you.

Move on.  I am glad that you are taking your time to find the right person.  Be prayerful, but stop crying because you are crying over spilt milk.

If this guy is ever meant for you at the end, he will seek you out.

ok dear, i have heard u. Sorry for ur heart pains. I know to well how it is. Bad circumstances let ppl doing crazy things like contract- or pretending- marriage.

But let me tell u, if u truely love somebody, it s NOT important to get him by all means.
The happyness of ur love one should concern u first. Sometimes u have to send ur love away or to let him go, if that would make him more happy.  He seems to be happy with his new woman, his wife now. They may unexpected felt truely in love to each other too.
So let him go and try to concentrate on other things. My faith and a new love helped me out, when i was in such situation bfore.

@ dolphin kate he does not love her.....im sure of that trust me.....he spend at least 12 hrs out of a day working to avoid her so i know that is not the case and if it was he would tell me.....and if it where true the other time i brolke it of with him he would just let me go u know but he does not wan to be with herand she cannot even have kids anymore and u know one thing about nigerian men they want kids...and she is way older than him and very bad characther.....un trained childeren alcoloic...various things but she is the least of my worries rightnow...honestly

@ omatu i am citizen born her in the states but just b/c you are a citizen doens not mean that i could automatically help him there is more to it than that......trust me ifi could i would.....my parents are nigerian we spoke of me doing it but we decided it was not a good idea b/c my parents would believe he wanted to use me b/c they are aware and he did not want that issue to occur.....even if we decided to wait till we where together a bit longer i also have to be making a certain amount of money in order to file for him b/c being that he was not a citizen he would not be able to work legally in this country and how much i make has to show that i can take care of me and him and if not we have to look for a sponsor...i was not livin on my own and i am a student...alot of things play into factor here omatu u know,....we sat down and discussed this and if he felt how u are saying that i did not help when i needed him most we would have been over......we have been hangng in there this long b/c hee knows that i have been having his back even when it hurted me but i always felt his future is important and i dont want to wait ........there is more that played into this part but i dont want to reveal every single thing but trust that all the possibile ways of doing this was spoken off before we made the decision......

hmm... if that true and if u r sure what u r saying, that means, his contract wife is keeping  ur exboyfriend like in prison. So she is using his weak situation to keep him like a dog? If that so, then ur exboyfriend is just afraid of not getting his papers and settlement. Then he does not want anything to bring his stay in danger.

Then it ´s may not to late for u and him in the future. Then u have to meet in secret in front of his contract wife untill he is settled. Besides in some usa states it´s also a crime to have lovers outside marriage. So he has to be careful. That means, u need a lot of love and patience for him the next 2 years or even longer. If u think, u can sacrifice minimum 2 years time, then wait for him.  Then leave always 1 eye on him cause if his wife is so wicked she might been able to take him in danger and sickness. And stay faithful for him. Don´t sleep with other man again. Good luck!
