Marital Vows- still important?

In a country that engages in religious riots to show strong faith, where mosques,churches and shrines are EVERYWHERE,where men and women  say they are of God/Allah and we all know God/Allah abhors ADULTERY,SURELY MARITAL vows are to be said and SHOULD BE KEPT WITHOUT QUESTION.But what do we find?BROKEN at the earliest opportunity.They should still be said cos those who FEAR God /Allah still keep them

how do we put into words of betrayal
i was married till few moments ago to a man i thought loved me
all it was was a con, u see he never loved me
but continue to use me for 4 yrs
thru his lack of showing he sincere we lost to get him here
now he waits till i sold everything here to go live him in nigerian
he now says he no longer wants me,
so no i dont believe nigerians are worthy of their word when they say they love

no one understands the hurt
