Abdulmumin Jibrin has been suspended. The House of Representatives suspended the lawmaker from Kano at the centre of the unfolding budget padding scandal, for 180 legislative days today.
The House seats three days in a week which means Jibrin’s suspension would last more than a year.
In a motion recommended by House Ethics Committee chairman, Nicholas Ossai, and adopted by the whole House, Mr. Jibrin will also not be able to hold any position of responsibility for the span of the current National Assembly.

someone expose corruption in the house, the next thing is for him to be suspended. that is injustice. its baffles me how our youth reasons. I just read their comments here, I feel so sorry for the future.

I suggest that the whole house should be suspended without pay. In fact, they should all be jailed because na armed robber salary dem dey collect. They are all thieves.
