Please,

I would like to make some correction to the write-up.

First, Nigeria played against Argentina in the finals of Atlanta '96 and not Brazil.

After the first round matches; Nigeria played against Mexico in one of the quarter-final mathes before engaging Brazil in one of the semi-final matches before trashing Argentina 2-1 in the final to lift the GOLD.

Secondly, this happened 12years ago and not 10years as the write-up suggests.

Please, whosoever that is posting anything should verify his or her story before posting because accuracy of information matters a lot.

Meanwhile, it would be highly appreciated for everyone to bear in mind that the game of football at this stage of a competition is always unpredictable. As a Nigeria, being patriotic, I would want Nigeria to repeat history but I know that "IT IS NEVER OVER UNTIL IT IS OVER" after 90minutes (120minutes - in case of extra-time) when the Referee blows the whistle.

Thank you.

Shizou, it may interest you to know that FOOTBALL game is not mathematics where there are formulas. Again, do not forget that in Atlanta '96 nobody expexted nigeria to beat Brazil having suffered a defeat in the hands of Brazil during the first round games of that year. So, I advise that you keep your views to yourself. Thank you and God Bless U.

i am very optimistic. Nigeria should stop celebrating a victory for a long time to the extent that it robs us of other victories we are suppose to win cheaply let us remember a victory won today becomes a history tommorow.

Its going 2b a 60-40 chance in favour of Argentina............yea, d Dream Team IV is a good side but, Argentina is a better side. It will take more than  playing on d pitch for Nigeria 2 emerge victorious.........Nevertheless, i wish d Dream Team IV a victorious encounter.

I think Nigeria will win, but either way, we're going home with a medal, be it silver or gold.
The football team has saved us the embarrassment of having no olympic medals at all in these Olympics

Well, everything is in God's hand. Victory belongs to God alone He chooses who will take home the gold. My little contribution is that we should all pray for our country because Argentina will also like to take home the gold Medal. We pray that our wish be granted to us through Jesus Christ Our Lord Amen!
