It makes sense, they just adapted to the global economy, how inconvenient is to have different calendars in the 21st century! Since they want to trade with other countries. You can't write everything off to religion and have an inadequate number of days off. There`re a number of progressive countries where such a number of days off is simply unthinkable, Japan for example. Btw, I constantly mark my working days in march 2023 calendar, cause I have a floating work schedule (sometimes without a day off at all) and occasionally wonder to myself - how I manage to work so much!
