Jodie Nnaji of the Kuchi-Kuchi fame and her actor husband, David Nnaji, have allegedly separated. According to sources, the singer and her husband who got married last October at a traditional marriage, which held in Delta State, allegedly parted ways a few months back.
The news of their alleged separation has been met with a lot of shock because the couple only welcomed their first child last April. In addition to that, both of them are known to be easy-going individuals.
Jodie who hails from Delta State is the younger sister of Marvellous, another singer who became popular via the music reality show, Project Fame. On the other hand, David Nnaji, a graduate of University of Lagos, is the CEO of Dun Entertainment. In addition to being married to Jodie, he is also her manager.
When Sunday Scoop called Jodie’s mobile number, the singer asked if it was a prank call and subsequently ended the call.
In a separate phone call made to David, he said it wasn’t true that he and his wife are estranged. “I don’t know where you got that story from because it is wicked and malicious. I am still married to my wife and I am not thinking of leaving her now or in the future,” he said.
