Hello everyone,

I am not saying that what the landlord did was right but why dodn't the tenant pay!
I am currently facing the same situation right now. Two of my tenants have refused to pay for over a year and they refused to move out. I just called my lawyer some minutes ago and he told me to send the sum of #40,000 for each tenant eviction filing in the court!

My question now is that:
1. how much is the rent in Alagbado side for 2 bedroom now
2. Does filing in court for each tenant cost that much.

I will take time to find that out but I THINK TENANTS SHOULD BE PAYING RENT REGULARLY AND IF THEY CAN'T THEY SHOULD MOVE out!

look , you get your lawyer involved any never give out your house to tenant directily but truogh your lawyer , every landlord is expriencing that difficulty these day , even me too i have two men who supose to be men of GOD ,pastors , trying to be some how very sturbon , you trust me now , law or no law , who will they said his their father ?i first make the living unconduicive for them by cutting of the power suply and then i told them if they were true sons of their father let them conect it now . i buted them out within a limitef time

my sister , please and please don,t sell that house --- right ? cuttinf off one,s head is not the right thing to get rid of a sturbbon headache, i am outside too , but atimes i go to nigeria twice or more in a year and atimes only once , i will not advice you take my decission , as that might not be a best solutions to your own problem , you know , slow and steady wins the race , get the lawyer involve , and thats all , after that you might put your lawyer or an eatate agent in care , i happen to have property in four different state , in a particular place then tenant occupies the house for nearlly 10 good years . 9years and seven monthys , she did some thing to diverts my attentions from that particular place now , and not until spiritually i was inform to take care of that property , and so many peoples at that GRA are where so suprise that that lady could be so easily ejected out of the place , and that was some times in 2003 , my neighbour , the very one close to me said , they feels like gathering them selves together and go to OBASANJO to thanks me on their behalves , because of the actrocity the woman commited in the area now . she is a real --------------------------------------- you can imagine that
