The Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, has been thrown into mourning after the president of the school’s National Association of Science Students (NASS), Comrade Adefuwa Adebowale Christopher died in a horrifying accident.
Sources who shared the news on social media report that the accident occurred along the Ile-Ife expressway in Osun state while Christopher and his colleagues were on their way back from an excursion at the Idanre Hills in Akure, Ondo State.
The students’ commuter bus reportedly collided with a trailer, leaving about 21 students wounded, and sadly, Adefuwa Adebowale Christopher was confirmed dead.
The university has yet to issue an official statement as at press time, but Christopher’s friends and colleagues are already flooding his social media timelines with mournful comments.
