I don't know whether this issue is above the government to handle. Here in Port Harcourt, Igwuruta to be precise, the herdsmen left their cattle to forrage on peoples farms last week. The community is an agrarian community and given the harsh economic atmosphere and skyrocketing food prices, most communities have a way round it by engaging in large scale farming. Why should these fulani herdsmen allow their cattle to destroy people's farms and means of livlihood and when you utter a word, they attack and kill you. The axiom 'live and let live' should be emphasised which means 'do not allow your business disurb that of others' into their ears.

There are some Morons in this forum who are not objective, when certain issues that bother on our corporate respect for one anothers rigth is mentioned you will never hear their comment but if anything relating to another tribe is mentioned even good, they will come out spitting venom. So pathetic, what is the governor doing about this phenomenon? I think its time for him to give a shoot at sight order to policeman on any animal found and the herdsmen found in their vicinity.

A brother to a fool bears the burden of foolishness. Housa/fulani is not the problem but Islam that denied them knowledge to civilization and peaceful coexistence with pple different from them. Awolowo of blessed memory saw these things and warned zik since pre-independence but Azikiwe reluctantly believed in one Nigeria, wic is failing the test of time so far.

in the early 70's, this same thing has been going in in Edo state mostly during holidays. Cattles were encouraged to eat grass on the school field. by then there were no killings going on.
