A taxi driver was practically left in tears after a lady driver bashed his car in an accident that happened on Akin Adesola street, Victoria Island last week.
According to Happenings.com.ng, the lady driver, a Slot executive was driving from the opposite lane. She had missed the traffic light (maybe ignored it) as it turned red and ran directly ran into the elderly driver in the taxi. The Baba, taxi driver, was driving jolly through the green light, believing it was his right of way.
Unfortunately, that one second changed everything.
A crowd quickly gathered and blamed the woman. But the taxi driver was clearly heartbroken, apparently because his only source of income, taxi, has just been damaged.
Eyewitnesses say he wept, saying: “Why should this happen?”

Nigerians don't know how to drive a car. They only move cars.I showed my part time driver, driving sign. He couldn't identify or tell me the meaning of 10 signs out of 63 signs but yet he has been driving for 12 years in Nigeria.
