@dolphinkate rape is a social vice which is in every country world over not just Nigeria and pls do not judge or think that there is no respect for women in Nigeria based on shallow comments posted here by few individuals who are entitled to their opinion no matter how it stinks. Having said that, the confessions and statements made by all the suspects simply shows they all commited the rape. One of them was saying that the girl begged him not to tell people that she was raped by the others and the girl started touching him, when asked if he raped her he said yes but she didnt fight back...i wonder how best to describe it that he really took part in the raped. Being unfaithful to ones boyfriend is not a reason for her to be raped, she can sleep with 100 men a day the least the guy could do was to walk out of the relationship not to organise a rape. If the allegations are true, the man should thank God for revealing these things to him before he made the mistake of marrying her. There is a particular demon that makes both men and women to cheat. The girl needed deliverance, but not rape and neither beating. We cannot mete out punishment. We are not God. God made it very clear that those that commit fornication, adultery, etc., will not enter the Kingdom of God. I think God's punishment is more than adequate. Any thing additional is unnecessary.
