Now, the prophet has claimed he received a fresh message from God postponing President Mugabe’s death until a later unspecified date.
In January the prophet said in a statement that the President will die on the 17th of October 2017. According to him, he said God told him on the 26th of December 2016, while he was praying that the 92-year-old president, who has been ruling for over 30 years, was not going to see the end of 2017.
The controversial prophet was subsequently arrested and jailed for 55 days for his prophecy. He later issued another statement telling the President that he misunderstood him as he said President Mugabe would only die if he doesn’t turn to God.
