Female Students Arrested Over Alleged Campaign Mobilization Fee In Akwa Ibom (Photos)

Some students were arrested by police yesterday in Akwa Ibom state over alleged campaign mobilization fee. According to an eyewitness, Saviour Udoh, the Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on students’ matters, Otobong Aquila, ordered the arrest of the female students after allegedly compromising her office for N5,000.

The students were reportedly released after intervention of the NANS chairman in Akwa Ibom, Comr. Akwaowo Clifford Ukpong..

Incompetence and failure as S A on students Matters; Otobong Aquila arrest Female students on their right, she compromised her office for 5k.
But their released had been secured immediately with the intervention of NANS AKS Chairman; Comr. Akwaowo Clifford Ukpong..Incompetence of the Special Assistant to Gov. Udom Emmanuel; Miss Otobong Aquila proposed and mobilized 20 female students for the PDP campaign flag off, immediately after the campaign flag off, she escaped and refused to demobilize the female students. She (Aquila) was to give them 20k but she sent 15k to the them via her PA, the students rejected the 15k and called her severally but she refused to pick their calls, the girls had no option than to go wait for her at her shop, while waiting, there the said Aquila ordered police to arrest and lock them up.
