The Benue State University, Makuurdi has banned students of the institution from wearing thick ‘beards on their faces.’’

A circular signed by the security management and pasted across the school campus said male students with thick beards must ‘shave it without option.’

The circular obtained by
Gltrends reads,
“This is to inform all students (male) that those wearing thick beard on their faces must shave them without option.”

This directive has sparked mixed reactions among students of the state-owned school.
