Inter Milan will host Tottenham in the first round of the group B campaign. The match will be played at the San Siro Stadium. Inter Milan are returning to the Champions League and their first opponent is certainly not an easy one. They were handed a difficult group with the likes of Barcelona and PSV. The fact that their form has not been great in the previous weeks is not something that works in their favor, as the English club is not someone who takes things lightly and will do their best to get a win. They lost to Parma by the score of 0-1 in the previous week and Tottenham are a much tougher nut to crack. Tottenham are looking decent in some elements of the game and lack in others. Their game lacks the fluidity and easy transitions that it had in the previous season and their defensive line looks like a downgrade compared to the last season. They have lost the previous two matches in the Premier League. The first defeat was a close loss to Watford and the most recent one to Liverpool showed all of their bad sides. Liverpool dominated the stats and looked like a much better team. Tottenham’s star striker, Harry Kane, is still trying to find his form as he has scored two goals from the previous five matches in the domestic league. Those numbers are below his standards and as the Spurs’ game heavily depends on him, that could be troublesome.
